52 weeks of colour, 52 — orange

The Owl and the Pussycat (and the human)

It’s hard to be subtle when thinking about orange, so I wasn’t.

It’s the last week of Luna’s 52 weeks of colour challenge. I guess we all say sad goodbyes, make heartfelt promises to stay in touch and then do so because it’s so damn easy with the internet — yay!

The sim is the latest installation at Empyreal Dreams, The Art Anthology, featuring Edward Lear’s The Owl and the Pussycat. It’s cheering and vibrant and a great joy to visit.

  1. I agree with Nic that line is so fitting… and I LOVE that poem I so have to visit that place! You look cute and I cant wait to see what else you come up with, looking forward to see you again in the next round too *hugs*

  2. Nic, thanks for your comment. It’s been a bittersweet finale but hurrah that it’s on again next year!

Rudh, it’s a great old story and was fun to re-visit a part of almost everyone’s childhood. Cheers to next year :-).

Sama, thank you. Yep, no skimping on the colour this week ;-).

Ani, thank you. It was a bright and fun end to this challenge.

Eliza, see you for part deux, too. I’m looking forward to a few traditional colours and lots of whacky ones as well.

Bourbiedoll, thanks! Yes, let’s sail away from this challenge and into the next one!

  3. Luna, I’m all agog that you’ve held the challenge together all year while managing all your other interests in SL, let alone RL — I take my hat off to you and I’m already busting to go again next year!

    Big hugs to you.
