52 weeks of colour part deux — week 7, folly

May your heart soar

This image looks simple but took an absurdly long time to rez the lengths of grass in the air without losing them in space (I couldn’t get the right density on the ground) and grab the image while my avatar kept slowly slipping towards the earth. A nice man also found my beam of light at 4096 metres — I have no idea how I shot it that far into space.

Hopefully it was worth the effort. I adore how the petals of the skirt look like they’re unfurlling as the edges reflect the sun’s light.

  1. That’s such an amazing picture, you floating off into that blue sky painted with wistful clouds, the heart-flowers in the grass below, and you in that blossoming skirt. Such a wonderful fantasy!

  2. Arya, thank you so much and I did land safely (just!)

Sophee, thank you. It’s amazing the things we do for that extra bit of detail

Rudh, you’re so kind. I’ll just be in work clothes tomorrow for V Day but in my SL world I can dress up like crazy

Nic, I’ll fly to any cloud that will land me 🙂

Hi Moniq, I went to a pose fair to meet Ticklemeorange from Flickr and found the balloons — a double win that day :-).

Sama, yes, it’s always the simple things that look deceptive and create the devil’s work behind the scenes

Ani, thanks so much my WordFeud friend!

Bourbie, if only it were real and we could fly with balloons … I guess we can, but it’s all in being able to land safely :-).

Eliza, I’m so glad to help lift your spirits and I’m going to check out your pic soon to get a bit of lift from you

Dou, thank you for your lovely comment

Nevery, thank you for the ‘like’
